Founded by the enigmatic Lady Grey, S.P.E.C.T.R.A. operates in the shadows of Neo-London 2075 with full governmental sanction and zero public profile. It is not a police force. It is not a military unit. It is the last line between humanity and the supernatural threats that the Convergence unleashed.

The Hoods are S.P.E.C.T.R.A.'s most specialised operatives — four women selected for their unique chakra abilities, trained to levels beyond conventional special forces, and colour-coded for operational anonymity. They operate where no conventional authority can.

What S.P.E.C.T.R.A. does:

S.P.E.C.T.R.A. operates across all three. The Hoods carry chakra powers — elemental abilities born from the Convergence itself — alongside cutting-edge vehicles, weapons and technology. The Red Hood runs on werewolf instinct and Root Chakra strength. The Blue Hood deploys tactical overlays and lightning lances with 100% outcome probability. The Green Hood heals what should be beyond healing and fights with equal ferocity. The Yellow Hood's gold cybernetic arm channels Solar Plexus energy that Neo-London's infrastructure registers as a power surge.

Four colour-coded female operatives, each with unique chakra powers, vehicles and weapons, are recruited by the covert agency S.P.E.C.T.R.A. — Supernatural Phenomena Enforcement, Containment and Tactical Response Authority — to stand between humanity and the darkness that followed.

It is Saturday morning animation on the surface. It is something considerably deeper underneath.

What is the inspiration behind S.P.E.C.T.R.A.: The Hoods Unleashed?

The property draws from urban fantasy, supernatural thriller, near-future sci-fi, and the Saturday morning cartoons of the 1980s and 90s — GI Joe, MASK, Centurions, Battle of the Planets, and of course the Little Red Riding Hood inversion at its core. The girl who bites back.

Think Buffy the Vampire Slayer meets Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex, with the X-Men's moral complexity and the toy line DNA of Transformers. The world is grounded in the published Chronicles of Daniel Welsh mythology — three novels establishing the origin of the Convergence that created this world.

The series operates on two levels simultaneously. On the surface — action, teamwork, supernatural threats, four extraordinary women discovering what they're capable of.
